So often we hear the stories in our community about children lives being unfairly cut short. Through various illnesses, often their quality of life is reduced to a point hard for most of us to imagine. What can we possibly do to help? Well, we do try our best through our photography to bring smiles to peoples faces BUT this year, Zanzo has also joined forces with other leading photographers across the nation to raise funds for Make-A-Wish Australia who make some kids dreams come true!
You must register by July 31st to be part of this project
(the photoshoot can take place anytime between now and the end of September 2018)
Last year we had such a great response to this project the sessions BOOKED OUT in the first few weeks so get in quick!
Over 30 Tasmanian families last year helped towards raising $28,000 for Beyond Blue.
For your $51 participation fee, you will receive a fun and relaxed studio photography session with Dean, (AIPP TAS Portrait Photographer of the Year) and your image included in the “A MOTHER AND HER CHILDREN… An Loving Bond” book. You will also have the opportunity to purchase additional prints or artwork if you wish.
Here is what some of the mums from last years project had to say
"Last year I took part in the Mother and Children’s portrait project with the Zanzo team. Dean is the most incredible photographer - particularly with children; he has them at ease and enjoying the experience within minutes of walking through the door, which allows him to capture their true personalities! I am a big believer in making memories, but just as importantly, being a part of the memories! Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed, and heaven forbid something ever happened to me - I want my children to be able to remember me as clearly as anything else! So go on, make some beautiful memories with your kids, that your family can keep forever! I promise you won’t regret it!"
"Big thank you to Dean and the gang at Zanzo. We were fortunate enough to participate in the National Family Portrait Month last year. Such a wonderful cause. Hubby was included and we ended up with the most amazing pictures, a true keepsake. We had our favourite turned into a canvas and also had a Designer album with all our favourites, as there were so many to choose from! We have had so many comments from friends and family. Thank you to whole Zanzo Team for helping to create not only beautiful pictures for us to treasure, but also, fun memories of the shoot and for capturing such special moments."
"Love being part of the project. It was a very relaxed and fun experience. When we were presented all of our images I had to wriggle my toes several times to stop tears!! ALL the staff was an absolute joy. Everyone is super nice and extremely friendly and helpful! If you have any doubts, just do it. You won't regret it."

Here are some of the images we made for Tasy Mums from the National Family Portrait Month 2017
"Don't think, just get the photos done - you can't capture those moments again and you'll treasure them. Also you and the kids will have a great time in the process. There is a reason that we all look so happy in the photos"
"Dean has a wonderful ability to tap into each family's uniqueness. He is especially good at relating to kids and so the end products are really natural. Our prints are absolutely beautiful. Incredible quality! Highly recommend the experience."
