The wonderful team at Calvary have arranged the gift of your baby's first professional photoshoot because they know how busy your life is about to become and how quickly your next chapter will seem to go. They sure are good at looking after you!
Very soon you will get to introduce your precious little one to the world. Imagine what it will feel like to snuggle your tiny new baby in your arms for the first time... To see their tiny little toes, to squish their tiny little face… These moments are so precious but so fleeting - they pass by so quickly.

We make priceless family heirlooms, through an amazing photographic experience that is designed to make you feel comfortable and loved at every step.
Whether you choose to use your gift card for a newborn shoot within those first few weeks, or a bit later once baby is sitting up and more expressive; we are sure that you will end up with a series of images that truly celebrate this time in your life.

(Don’t stress about the ‘register by’ date on your card - we’re pretty flexible with that sort of thing. Once registered, your card will be valid up until your bubba’s first birthday. 🥳
Once you’ve done this, we’ll make a time for you to come visit the studio for your planning appointment. This is a casual 15-20 minute chat with Dean (the photographer guy) about what we can do for you. Finding out more about your baby and anyone else you would like to include in your shoot, helps us to create the best portraits possible! You'll have the chance to ask as many questions as you like in our warm and cosy studio at 152 Collins St, Hobart.

Every baby born at Calvary and photographed by Zanzo, will have the opportunity to be a part of the 'Born at Calvary' exhibition by having an image from their photoshoot displayed in the Maternity unit.

"Such a beautiful experience capturing the wonder in the eye of a one month old. Dean was incredibly professional, yet so caring and natural in his handling, and care of my little man. Dean also captured intimate nursing photos of me with Harrison without any need for me to feel self-conscious or post-baby body shamed due to the warm and comfortable atmosphere he provides. "Cannot rate Zanzo higher, we love our photos and that they capture the REAL us. Dean was amazing with the kids, large and small and captured all of their personalities brilliantly. The photo shoot was amazing, baby Levi was having a bad day but Dean was extremely patient and managed to capture amazing photos while also making it fun for Levi's big sister Ella. Are you wondering “What exactly does the $400 value on the gift card cover?”
Great question! It covers all of your appointments (outlined here) and a few hundred dollars towards any of our artwork collections. Details of those can be found here but in summary, after this credit is applied, our collections start at $1590 which includes a beautifully finished large piece for the wall, four 8x10” gift prints and the corresponding files for sharing digitally.

Please NOTE: The first step in your portrait experience is your planning appointment. This is a casual chat in the studio where we get to meet you to find out a little bit about you and what you’re hoping to get out of your experience here. It’s GREAT because then by the time we have the shoot, we know each other already so you’ll be much more comfortable and we’ll end up with way better images for you to choose from. :)
Failure to turn up to this (or any subsequent) appointment without at least 24 hours notice will void the print credit portion of any gift card or promotional offer you may have. Our time is precious too :)
